Sept. 6, 2015 – It is with a heavy heart that I send the news of Stevi Oliphant’s passing. This morning I spoke with Stevi’s brother, Lew, who told me that Stevi passed away yesterday morning, September 5. He had been with her for the past eleven days. Stevi was in hospice care and kept comfortable while he was with her. Her cancer had spread too much for Stevi to be able to win her fight. Her physical presence will be missed. She will live in the hearts and memories of many of us. There will be a small memorial for her family and close San Francisco friends later in September. From a chartered boat, her ashes will be spread into the SF bay with a get-together after in Sausalito.
