RAY-COBB, Frances Helen
87, of St. Petersburg, died Nov. 16, 2014, born Oct. 15, 1927 in Adel, GA to parents, Walter Clifford Ray and Sallie Rosanna Ray (Rowan). B.S. University of Tampa, she worked for many years as a real estate agent with Selby Real Estate and was a stewardess with Braniff Airlines in the late 1940s and early 50s. She belonged to the St. Petersburg Yacht Club Salty Sisters, St. Thomas Episcopal church flower guild, Ikebana International St. Pete Chapter. She loved flower arranging and her grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her husbands, Budd M. Cobb and Lt. Col. Grady W. Ray USMC (Ret); her daughter, Barbara Gretchen Ray; sisters, Eileen, Ina, Inez, and Idora; and brother, Charles Ray. She is survived by her son, Grady W. Ray Jr. and his family wife Ann and children Tyler and Rosalee. She will be buried at Long Bridge cemetery in Adel, GA Nov. 22 at 2 pm.
